Gorman / Peace Valley

Fuji GX617 Panoramic Gallery

The Gorman and Peace Valley panoramas document some of the most expansive wildflower landscapes in the archive. Created on 6×17 cm transparency film with the Fuji GX617, these photographs preserve flower-covered hillsides, valleys and mountain foothills within the camera’s distinctive 3:1 panoramic frame.

Photographed across several remarkable bloom years, the images move from broad fields of color and immense skies to changing light, night-blooming flowers and quieter details within the landscape.

This gallery is a small curated selection from a photographic archive spanning more than forty years and hundreds of images. Select a panorama below to enter its individual archive page with a larger image, technical details and Field Notes.
These panoramas represent a small part of a much larger Gorman and Peace Valley archive accumulated across decades of returning to the landscape. Additional photographs, Field Notes and historical material will continue to be added as the archive unfolds.
